The idea of having our own family website , was brought up sometime in mid year 2003. It took us another year to finally had the first version up and running, hosting it at 1and1.com server containing a very minimal information.

Since then, years went by, lots of visitor signing out the guestbook and many inputs were given, but... we did not have either the time or energy to make the proper update.

For that we would like to apologize to those individuals, who had written and not being responded appropriately. This time around we introduce the FORUM, which will enable every single member to communicate against each other directly in a timely fashion.
 

Although this site is mainly established for the circle of Matindas Family, we are also thinking about the possibility of helping the relatives and close friends who needs to learn more about life in many different places around the globe, the weather, travel arrangement ,and some other aspects in life.
 

There will be pages that are open to public, and there will be pages that are restricted to the immediate family members, as it contains personal information that are only made available to the people that we trust. Those restricted pages will be password protected, the same password for every individual which will be changed from time to time. This password will be distributed to the members who have registered trough the mail-list that were collected during registration.

 We understand that  members of the Keluarga Besar, came from so many different ages, backgrounds , nationalities and or ethnic groups, and they too, have friends and relatives that they feel like sharing things with.

So we are thinking about granting special membership for a limited number of people who are not directly associated with our family ,  but either grew up with us, or being recommended by one of us.  Then of course we need to limit the amount of sponsorship per person to prevent it from getting too crowded.  more
